Hydrogen supply: Hydrogen refueling stations usually obtain hydrogen from centralized hydrogen production plants or hydrogen storage facilities. Hydrogen can be obtained by water electrolysis, natural gas reforming or other methods.
Storage and compression: The obtained hydrogen will first be stored and compressed. Hydrogen is usually stored in the form of compressed hydrogen to provide sufficient hydrogen quality and flow during the hydrogenation process.
Purification and cooling: In order to ensure the quality of hydrogen supplied to fuel cell vehicles, hydrogen will be purified and cooled in the hydrogenation station. These steps are designed to remove impurities and impure substances to provide high-purity hydrogen.
Hydrogenation process: When a fuel cell vehicle arrives at a hydrogenation station, the hydrogenation process begins. The vehicle is connected to the hydrogenation station and hydrogen is delivered to the vehicle's hydrogen storage system through devices such as hydrogenation guns.
Pressure regulation: The hydrogen refueling station will adjust the pressure of hydrogen to suit the requirements of the vehicle's hydrogen storage system according to the needs of the vehicle. This ensures that hydrogen enters the vehicle at the appropriate pressure.
Safety measures: Hydrogen refueling stations are equipped with safety equipment and control systems to ensure the safety of the hydrogen refueling process. These include leak detection, pressure monitoring and automatic stop devices, etc.

Classification of hydrogen refueling stations: Depending on the source of hydrogen, hydrogen refueling stations can be divided into external hydrogen refueling stations and in-station hydrogen production and supply hydrogen refueling stations.
