The operating procedures of CNG filling stations mainly include the following aspects:

1. Safety operating procedures
The safe operation of CNG filling stations is the basis of leak prevention, fire prevention and explosion prevention. Fireworks and non-explosion-proof electrical appliances are strictly prohibited in the machine room area. Non-operating personnel are not allowed to approach during the operation of the machine. Before starting the compressor, make sure that no one is inspecting and repairing the compressor and its system. Compressor operators must be trained and certified to work.

2. Preparations before starting
Before starting the compressor, a series of preparations need to be made:

Check whether there is rust on each friction surface, and perform necessary cleaning and lubrication.
After confirming that the crankcase is clean, inject the specified lubricating oil and reach the specified oil level.
Check the cleaning and maintenance of the compressor to ensure that it meets the requirements for safe operation.
Turn the wheel several times to check whether the operation is flexible, and start the machine only after confirming that there are no obstacles.
3. Start and run
Connect the power supply, start the compressor, and run it at no load.
When the compressor speed is normal, open the intake valve and close the unloading valve and drain valve.
Observe the oil pressure, water pressure and the intake and exhaust pressures of each level, and whether the temperature is normal.
Adjust the intake valve according to the natural gas pressure at the station to make the compressor run at full load.
4. Drainage and patrol inspection
During the operation of the compressor, the cooling separator is drained regularly according to the water content of the raw gas (generally once every 2 hours).
The operator must check the operation status in the machine room at any time, check whether there are leaks in valves, pipe joints, etc., and keep records.
Pay attention to the temperature and pressure of the compression cylinders at each level, and deal with them immediately if there are any abnormalities.
5. Emergency handling
During normal operation, if there is a sudden impact sound or other abnormal conditions, the power supply of the compressor should be cut off quickly and the machine should be stopped urgently.
Prevent liquid from entering the cylinder to avoid liquid impact damage to the machine.
Do not immediately pass cold water after the water is cut off to avoid cylinder cracks.
After stopping in winter, the water in the cylinder jacket should be released to prevent the cylinder from freezing and cracking.
6. Gas filling operation procedures
Gas filling workers should undergo technical training and obtain job qualification certificates. Before filling, you need to release static electricity on your body and observe whether the gas filling machine is in normal condition. During the gas filling process, pay attention to observe whether there are any abnormalities in the gas filling machine, inflation valve, etc. If there are any abnormalities, stop filling immediately and eliminate the fault.
