1. Drying Process (Drying Loop)
After the raw natural gas enters the drying system, it is firstly pre-filtered by the pre-filter to remove impurities such as dust and liquid oil in the gas and protect the subsequent adsorption equipment. The purified gas flows into Adsorption Tower 1, where the efficient molecular sieve fully absorbs moisture in the natural gas and reduces the gas dew point, turning the raw gas into high-purity dry finished gas. The dried finished gas is further precisely filtered by the post-filter to remove trace impurities, and finally stably output through the output pipeline. The whole process realizes efficient and standardized natural gas drying and ensures the stable operation of the subsequent fueling equipment.
2. Regeneration Process (Regeneration Loop)
While Adsorption Tower 1 is performing the drying process, the system automatically activates the closed regeneration loop composed of a heater, Adsorption Tower 2, condenser, separation filter, and regeneration circulating fan to realize uninterrupted molecular sieve regeneration and ensure continuous equipment operation. The gas in the regeneration loop is pressurized and delivered to the heater by the circulating fan, forming high-temperature dry airflow after rapid heating, which is continuously fed into Adsorption Tower 2. The high-temperature environment activates the water-saturated molecular sieve, separates the adsorbed moisture, and carries the water vapor out with the high-temperature airflow.
The high-temperature gas carrying water vapor enters the condenser and is rapidly cooled down to about 40℃. The water vapor in the gas condenses into liquid water, which is separated through the gas-liquid separation filter and discharged automatically via the drainage system. The continuous cyclic operation completely removes the moisture adsorbed by the molecular sieve, fully regenerates and activates the saturated molecular sieve, and restores its efficient water absorption performance. This design supports long-term, uninterrupted, and low-loss continuous drying operation of the equipment.
